“Social Innovation – Smart City Week 2014”, one of the largest and most noticeable events in the smart city area in Japan, was held between October 29 and 30, in Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama City.

Michi Creative City Designers Inc., together with the organizer, Nikkei BP, invited two organizations, with which the company has partnership, to make presentations in the conference.

One is Smart Cities Council from US, and the other is World Council on City Data from Canada. Their presentations were located in the session titled “The Smart Cities of the World – Today and Tomorrow -”, and were well accepted by the audience.

Michi Creative City Designers Inc. will continue making such efforts as this to introduce overseas activities to Japanese industry and municipalities to assist the overseas organizations to extend their activities to Japan as well as to assist Japanese industry and local governments to take part in the adequate organizations abroad.
