In order to enhance the “social business” aspect of Michi Creative City Designers Inc. an affiliated organization called “General Incorporated Association Eco-Island” has been established. The “General Incorporated Association” is a legal entity of a kind of non-profit organizations under Japanese laws.

The activities of “Eco-Island” include:
Offering and dissemination of information on sustainable development on remote islands and in self-sustained communities,
Planning and management of events such as seminars and symposia on sustainable development on remote islands and in self-sustained communities.
